THE CHUNILAL INITIATIVE WELCOMES YOU
Neurosurgical Care is a Right, Not a Privilege
The Chunilal Initiative is a non-profit organization consisting of licensed healthcare professionals and non-clinical support staff volunteers. The Chunilal Initiative establishes ongoing neurosurgery mission trips in under-served, impoverished, and marginalized communities around the world.
WHO WE ARE
The Chunilal Initiative is made up of a diverse and talented set of individuals with a common goal to help those in need. We have volunteer physicians, physician assistants, nurses, surgical technicians, and industry leaders that work together to achieve our collective goals.

MEDICAL FOCUS
The Chunilal neurosurgery team treats adult and pediatric brain and spinal tumors, hydrocephalus, traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic spine fractures, degenerative spinal conditions, and peripheral nerve disorders.
AMBA DOC ON THE STREET INITIATIVE
Dr. Patel and a team of healthcare volunteers deliver care to the homeless of the Boston/Metropolitan area. Due to various medical and mental health barriers, the homeless due not seek healthcare until it is too late. The Amba Doc on the Street Initiative proactively connects doctors to those in need, instead of the traditional model of waiting for individuals to seek medical assistance.
LOCAL ORPHANAGES
In every region where the Chunilal team serves, we establish partnerships with local orphanages with the purpose of bringing substantial donations of school supplies and clothing.
